Jury Duty
lf you receive a jury summons, take the elevator to the second floor you make
an immediate right, then a left, to the jury assembly room.

Where is the courthouse entrance?
The entrance to the courthouse is located on the
Montgomery Street side of the building. As you enter the courthouse you will be asked to place
any bags on the x ray conveyor belt and any loose items on your person in the bowl before
proceeding thru the metal detector. Once thru, you may be required to submit to further
examination by the Deputy on duty. Once completed, you will be allowed to retrieve any bags
from the x ray screening device. From there you will see the screen listing of all the courts that
are in operation for the day. This security screening is intended to make your visit to the court
house as safe as possible.
Gun Permits & Marriage License
lf your in need of a marriage license or pistol permit,
take the elevator to the 5th floor. Probate Court were the staff will assist you.

Dispossessory warrants and good behavior warrants are
issued by Magistrate Court on the third floor.
